Mindmistress: Because of your masterful writing style...your beautifully detailed art. Schroeder: Are you serious? Mindmistress: No. Because I visited thirty webcartoonists before you...you were Vicki's first choice...but I wanted...more.Mindmistress: Three wanted me in 'spirte comcis'...two wanted to reuse the same images over and over...half wanted to give me a talking goat...or chicken...or cat...half weren't interested in...'superheroes'. Schroeder: Ah.

Mindmistress: So I made them forget...as you'll forget...but you'll keep the ideas...the plots...the stories...I'll visit every so often...relate my experiences...and do the same./comics/Schroeder: Uh! What was I doing...? Oh, yeah...better get started...on that webcomic...old-fashioned silverageish, sense of wonder stuff. No way it'll be popular...but I'll enjoy it.
