One thing that helps the illusion of Lorelei and Mindmistress being two seperate people is that they seem physically different. MM seems slightly taller, her curves and figure more pronounced than Lorelei. There's a reason for that.Her basic armor is a quarter inch thick, her exoskeleton adds another quarter inch. That adds a half inch to her feet and an additional half inch to her head....making her an inch taller. Other parts of her figure are similarly enhanced.

The helmet contains...a cybernetic 'processor' that converts mental images for the breastplate to project...a small computer to help the armor in 'standby' mode---ear receiver and throat mike to talk to Vicki---telltales to monitor her health.That same cybernetic processor inher helmet is keyed to certain images---to summon them when she concentrates on them. her advanced aircraft, the Swift Thought...the 'catwalk'...even summoning Vicki or using the Psyche-staff, are just a matter of conjuring up the right image in her mind.
